Powder coating is a metal treatment that produces an attractive, durable finish that can strengthen and restore the appearance of metals without the expense or waste of traditional liquid treatment options.

Powder coating is applied as a free-flowing powder that is adhered electrostatically to metal surfaces. After it is applied, the powder is cured under heat, creating a surface that is stronger and often more durable than liquid paints. Because the coating is applied as a powder no liquid is evaporated during the application process, powder coating does not produce the noxious chemicals and VOC’s that are often characteristic of liquid paint application.

Powder coating cures faster than traditional liquid paints, and applications of powder coating produce a thick, smooth surface that is resistant to sun damage, chipping, chemical degradation, abrasion, heat, and UV light. Powder coating does not drip or sag like liquid paint applications, and surface results are extremely even in appearance.

Powder coating is available in a wide array of colors and can be applied to metal surfaces and objects of any size, making it an excellent choice for anything from large industrial workspaces to individual bike frames and small appliances.
